Red Granite Charter School is a Waldorf Inspired charter school that aligns with the sustainable education model. Sustainable education is learner-centered and attends to broad ideas of interconnectedness and whole systems thinking.

Yes! Red Granite Charter School is free to all enrolled students as it is a public charter school authorized through the Wausau School District.

The school will serve pre-kindergarten through 3rd grade in year one, 2024-2025. The school will then expand through 8th in subsequent years.

Red Granite Charter School is available to anyone, regardless of what school district the student currently resides within. If your family resides outside the Wausau School District, you will be eligible to enroll via open enrollment. If you reside within the Wausau School District there is no need to open enroll, but you still need to apply and do not get guaranteed admission if the applicants exceed the amount of spots. We align with district and state 4k and 5k age requirements.

Red Granite Charter School will be hiring their lead teachers around October-November of 2023. All other positions for the school will be posted on or around Apri 2024.
